More Than Church: Why We Need a Kingdom Conversation

Kingdom doesn’t happen once a week—it happens every day you surrender to His rule.

More Than Church: Why We Need a Kingdom Conversation

A Project 7:13 Perspective

At Project 7:13, we confront the traditions that have made the Word of God ineffective (Mark 7:13). And one of the most limiting traditions we’ve inherited is the belief that church is the full expression of faith. It’s not.

Jesus didn’t come to build buildings—He came to establish a Kingdom.

And yet, so many conversations in faith spaces still revolve around church attendance, denominational allegiance, or who’s preaching next Sunday. While those things have their place, they often distract us from the deeper call: to live as citizens of the Kingdom and ambassadors of Heaven.

The Difference Between Church Talk and Kingdom Conversation

Church talk is comfortable. It’s familiar.

Kingdom conversation is disruptive—it challenges systems, questions culture, and calls people to accountability.

Church talk says “come to the building.”

Kingdom talk says “go into all the world.”

Church talk focuses on members.

Kingdom conversation develops disciples.

Church talk celebrates programs.

Kingdom conversation activates purpose.

Kingdom doesn’t happen once a week—it happens every day you surrender to His rule.

Why This Matters to Us

Project 7:13 exists to expose and uproot traditions that keep people bound. We believe the most dangerous tradition is the one that convinces you church is enough—as long as you look holy, act saved, and stay silent.

But the Kingdom doesn’t operate in silence.

It speaks truth. It sets captives free. It restores order.

Kingdom conversation addresses family, finances, race, leadership, gender, healing, and legacy—not just theology.

It’s not about being seen at church—it’s about being sent into the world.

This Is Our Mandate

We’re not anti-church—we’re pro-Kingdom.

We honor the gathering of believers, but we’re here to spark something deeper: a conversation that reclaims your identity, ignites your assignment, and challenges you to walk in full alignment with Heaven.

So let’s talk Kingdom.

Let’s break free from the tradition of routine and return to the boldness of purpose.

Because until we have Kingdom conversations, we’ll keep settling for church activity that doesn’t shift culture.
