Stop Explaining God – Start Living Him

We don’t win the world with explanations; we win it with demonstrations.

It fascinates me how much energy the world spends trying to explain God away. Entire debates are built around whether He exists, why people believe in Him, or how faith can be “proven.” Yet, those same debates don’t happen in other areas of life.

No one debates electricity.

No one argues whether Wi-Fi is real.

No one questions artificial intelligence in the same way.

We flip a switch, the light comes on. We swipe our phones, the signal connects. We log in, the AI responds. We don’t demand a dissertation on how the power grid functions or how the algorithms are written; we trust the system, use it, and move on.

But when it comes to God; omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, the conversation shifts. Suddenly, everything needs to be proven, explained, dissected. Why?

The Problem of Trust

The difference is simple: we trust man-made systems more than we trust the Creator. We pay the bill and expect the lights to come on. Yet, we hesitate to trust God’s promises with the same confidence.

Imagine if we gave Him the same trust we give technology. We don’t understand every detail of how electricity flows through wires, but we know the light will shine when we flip the switch. Faith works the same way: walk in it, live it, and the evidence shows up.

God Doesn’t Need an Explanation

God doesn’t need our explanations to prove His existence. He doesn’t need defending like a fragile argument. Instead, He desires demonstration. The evidence is in our lives, how we walk, how we love, how we serve, how we reflect Him daily.

Jesus said in Matthew 5:16:

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Notice the call; shine, not explain.

The Call to Live, Not Debate

We don’t win the world with explanations; we win it with demonstrations. Stop trying to argue God into existence, live in such a way that His existence is undeniable.

When your peace doesn’t break in storms…

When your love goes beyond what’s deserved…

When your faith carries you through impossibilities…

That’s when people see God.

Electricity doesn’t argue, it shines. AI doesn’t explain, it produces. And God doesn’t need your debate, He needs your life as a witness.

So maybe it’s time to stop trying to explain God and simply flip the switch of faith. Trust Him like you trust man-made systems, and let your life be the current that proves He is real.
